About Cowgirl Junkie Couture
My dream started about seven years ago in late 2004. I was teaching kindergarten and wanted a little something more, something fun I could do in my spare time to get my creative juices flowing. That is when I started making blingy belt buckles for my friends and myself. Next thing I knew, I was coming up with a company name and doing small craft shows. Thus, the beginning of The Buckle Queens, which many of you knew me by for a long time.
I was really starting to LOVE my "little side business," as it was my stress reliever from teaching 20 five year olds all day. As my business continued to grow, I started expanding the things I was selling. That led me to change my company name. Of course, I wanted to name it something funky and unique. Somehow, I came up with Cowgirl Junkie. Over time, I realized what my true passion was and it was COWGIRL JUNKIE!!!
For months, I tried to figure out how I could leave my teaching career behind to pursue my dream. After much thought, consideration, and prayer, I decided it was time to leave my teaching days behind and hit the road. I have been doing shows and running Cowgirl Junkie full time ever since and have been lovin' every minute.
Along with being on the road, Cowgirl Junkie is also featured in 3 other locations. The Shoppes at Brownstone Village in Arlington, Texas, The Shoppes on the Square in La Grange, Texas and Cindy Jaeger Designs in Tomball, Texas. So if you are ever in the area be sure to stop in and check it out!!!!
Without the love and support of my wonderful husband, Chris, my sweet baby boy Cody, my family, my friends, and my wonderful dog Rowdy I would not be living my dream and doing what I love. I am truely a very blessed women! LoVin' To LiVe...LiViN' To LoVe!!!!
